- Updating the Zoning Laws: Beth Ruman will be spearheading this effort and working with Mark Concilla on this. Progress report to follow soon.
- Town’s Comprehensive Plan Progress so far
- briefing from meeting held on Monday, February 26th at 6:30pm
- Village Traffic Light/battery backup system
- briefing on phone calls made to battery back up suppliers.
- Rachel Kitchen’s residence on North Street
- discussion of any updates on how & when to proceed with inspection of property.
- Saratoga County Hazard Mitigation/Emergency Preparedness Plan
- Open meeting for the Public to be held April 4th at 4pm at 6012 County Farm Rd., Ballston Spa, NY
- – next meeting for the municipal officials will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 10am
- Christmas Decor: If we are still interested, Banners seem to be less expensive than the lighted wreaths, etc. Discussion about whether or not to look more deeply into this.
NEW BUSINESS
- Preliminary annual budget discussion.
- Discussion of the estimate to replace the roof on the large gazebo.
- ARPA funds should cover all costs.
- Contractor will be Jacque Godbout.
- Estimate for materials and labor is $2,100.00.
- Registration for new voters to be held on Saturday, March 9th from noon to 5pm at the Galway Public Library
- The Village Election for the positions of Mayor and Trustee will be held on Tuesday, March 19th from noon to 9pm at the Galway Public Library
- Galway Booster Club called to let us know they will be doing their annual coin drop on Saturday, May 18th.
